About Us
This ministry was founded in 1982 and came from humble beginnings. It has grown tremendously during the years and is impacting the lives of many in The Bahamas, Caribbean and the United States. We have twenty (20) ministries, a pre-school a full time staff of fifteen (15) and are one of the most progressive churches in New Providence, Bahamas Evangelism is the lifeblood of the church. Can we put a value on a soul? No we can’t. We are commissioned to preach the gospel and make disciples. Through revivals, seminars, television, radio and other anointed ministry products and literature. Calvary Deliverance Church is continuing to spread the good news of Jesus Christ throughout The Bahamas and the world. We are prepared to fight and conquer the forces of darkness by raising up an anointed army for God. Statement of Faith
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, infallible, and God’s revealed word to man. We believe in the inspiration of the Bible, equally in all parts and without error in its origin.
We believe that Scripture teaches there is only one true living God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We believe in the one God, eternally existent Father, Son and Holy Ghost, who created man by a direct immediate act. We believe in the fall of man and that man is sinful and in need of redemption. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the Son of Man, and that He came to save men from the condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and by making it available to all who exercise faith in Him. We believe in the preexistence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, subtitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of grace is absolutely essential. We believe the scripture ascribe to the Holy Spirit the acts and attributes of an intelligent being, and that these works of God are ascribed to the Holy Spirit: creation, inspiration, giving of the life and sanctification. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. We believe in the spiritual relationship of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, living a life of righteous works, separated from the world, witnessing of His saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that all mankind is subject to death of the body as a result of original sin; the soul does not die, but immediately after death enters into a conscious state of happiness or misery, according to the character here possessed by the acceptance or rejection of the Savior. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation. We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  |
