Our Pastors
Bishop V.G. Clarke
Bishop V. G. Clarke, the senior pastor of Calvary Deliverance Church located East St. South , is undoubtedly an appointed servant of God who walks under a peculiar anointing. He began his ministry at the tender age of 16 years in the city of Nassau , and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology to further prepare himself as a serious messenger of the Word.
Elder B.M. Clarke was born in the quaint settlement of Roses, Long Island, Bahamas to the parentage of Atwell Williams and Ethelyn Cartwright-Wilson. She eventually moved to New Providence and received her formative education at Western Junior and Senior High Schools. And later continued her education through studies at various evening institutions, including the Bahamas Institute of Bankers.
A man of integrity, with a spirit of humility, committed to the service of God and others, a “people person” you can depend on. A man, who lives by the word he preaches with all sincerity, is how Pastor James Newry can be described. This anointed man of God who has been truly walking by faith since his conversion in 1985 has exemplified Christianity.
Mark Barrett, the fourth child of five children was born on the island of New Providence through Tooth Shop Corner. At the age of four years he was admitted in the public school system and attended the T. Gibson Primary, T.G. Glover Junior High and later the C.C. Sweeting Sr. High School where he graduated in 1983 at the age of fifteen years and was amongst those who received top honors. Mark was also a member of the Royal Bahamas Cadet Crop and was one of the first recipients of the National Youth Award.
This St. Johns’ College graduate has an impressive academic banking background. Pastor Campbell holds a B. A. Degree in Economics, is a fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and a Masters Degree in Business Economics. Additionally, he has a wealth of knowledge in the banking industry having worked at several major commercial and private banking institutions over a 25 year period.
In life many live their lives by definitions while other seeks to define and redefine. Ricardo, son of Bishop V.G. Clarke and Elder Beverly Clarke, a pastor and the Regional Director of Rod Parsely's World Harvest Fellowship Bahamas/Turks & Caicos/Caribbean region has been creating a path for others to follow and has dedicated his life to creating an Uprising in this generation.
Pastor Elect Darren Henfield assumes no credit for the many positive things which God has graciously done in his life over the past years. It is his personal conviction that God alone opens doors to success as he stands upon the promises of His Word.
On the settlement of Bullet Hill Crooked Island, Bahamas, a baby girl name Dorothy was born to Muriel Moss and the late Curtis Moss.
Pastor Dorothy Moss received her education at the True Blue All Age School, Crooked Island. She later relocated to New Providence in 1958. She is the proud mother of seven (7) children, twelve grand children and one great grand child.
