A man of integrity, with a spirit of humility, committed to the service of God and others, a “people person” you can depend on. A man, who lives by the word he preaches with all sincerity, is how Pastor James Newry can be described.

This anointed man of God who has been truly walking by faith since his conversion in 1985 has exemplified Christianity.

Realizing the call of God on his life he attended The Bahamas Baptist College and The Assemblies of God Bible College.  He later resigned his job as General Manager of Epic Battery and Automotive Ltd., where he was employed for sixteen (16) years to pursue, further studies at the World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio, where he graduated in June, 2002, and The Circleville Bible College, in Circleville, Ohio where he pursued studies in Christian Education.

Pastor James Newry has served as Bus Driver, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Pastor, Counsellor, and Radio Host for Calvary Deliverance Hour, Prison Ministry Assistant, and now Director of Ministries and Associate Pastor of Calvary Deliverance Church.

He has been married to the former Queenie Ferguson for 23 years, is the proud father of four children, (two sons and two daughters) and resides in the Community of Sunset Park.
