Pastor Elect Darren Henfield assumes no credit for the many positive things which God has graciously done in his life over the past years. It is his personal conviction that God alone opens doors to success as he stands upon the promises of His Word.

A graduate of Abaco Central High School, Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, England, and soon, the University of the West Indies. Pastor Elect Henfield is a twenty eight year veteran of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, who currently holds the substantive rank of lieutenant. He anticipates entering The Eugene Dupuch Law School this fall where he intends to consummate his legal education.  

Fully mindful that only what is done for Christ will last; he finds much gratification in serving God and the people of Calvary Deliverance Church where God has permitted him to function in many spheres. Pastor Elect Henfield served actively in almost every facet of the church by chairing many committees and leading a number of ministries.  He presently serves as a Supervisor of Ministries. However, he is particularly humbled to have had the opportunity to chair the church’s annual convention.

Pastor Henfield is the eldest son of Bishop Clifford and Mother Evelyn Henfield, founders of Grace Baptist Church, Dundas Town, Abaco.  He and his wife Deidre are the grateful parents of three sons. Being himself afflicted by the vicissitudes of life Pastor Henfield seeks to be an encourager to God’s people. He appreciates all genres of uplifting music and particularly enjoys reading, traveling and meeting people.
